The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

Genevieve is working in the family haberdashery shop — sells umbrellas. She is in love with mechanic guy, and he reciprocates her feelings. But soon the guy drafted into the army and sent to Algeria. In parting, the lovers promise to wait for each other. Then Genevieve learns that she is pregnant and must choose between waiting for all no, and she agrees to marry a wealthy man.
