Back on Earth, the crew "enterprise" finds that the activities and principles of their organization undermined from within. Fleet bound inexplicable terror and lies dormant until the world is sinking deeper into the abyss. Captain kirk takes over leadership of the operation to capture the villain responsible for this chaos and capable of destroying all of humanity.
