Pacific Rim

When from the sea depths rose the legions of monsters, known as kaiju, started a war, which was destined to take millions of lives and reduce human resources almost to zero in just a few years. To combat the aliens were created special weapons: huge robots, called jaegers, are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose consciousness connected with neural connections. But even jaegers are almost powerless in the face of relentless kaiju. On the verge of defeat the defenders of humanity has no choice but to turn to two dubious heroes — nobody needs to former pilot and inexperienced trainee — who are teamed to lead into battle once legendary but now obsolete Jaeger. Together, they are the only hope of mankind, the last obstacle before the impending Apocalypse.
