In 1930-e years in the USSR, comes a young journalist from Wales Gareth Jones, who wants to interview Stalin. After witnessing the brutal repression and national calamities, Gareth with life-threatening writes an article about the dark side of the Soviet utopia. While intelligence agencies and the supporters of Stalin looking for a way to silence him, an aspiring writer George Orwell under the impression from his story conceives the novel "Animal farm."
