Immortal warrior Connor Macleod has been called to another fight, this time his most powerful enemy, Warlock Kane, sharpened to a mystical mountain in Japan 300 years ago and reached incredible magical powers. Unsuspecting archaeologists free Kane. In order to rule the world the sorcerer needs the magic energy, which he can only get after killing the Highlander. Macleod lurks in their native mountains of Scotland to prepare for the decisive battle and forge a new sword in the old forge. He meets Alex, a scientist from the Museum of Ancient History. Many years ago in another life, Alex McLeod, and loved each other. Alex tries to support him, to finally unravel the mystical purpose of a Highlander battle with the Sorcerer, which can put an end to the eternal war for magical energy, supernatural power and absolute power over the world.
