Breaking Away

The picture tells the story of four friends — American residents of the University town of Bloomington. Dave, Mike, Cyril and Moocher just finished school and on the verge of entering into adulthood. Dave is a big fan of Italian lifestyle and culture, but above all he is crazy about the main Italian passions — Cycling. When the city comes to the competition the Italian team Dave is trying to prove that he is a rider worthy of competition with the best athletes of Europe, but professionals quickly put the upstart in place. Dave met with a student of Katherine. At first he put the dust in the eyes of the girl with stories about what he allegedly student of Italian. But one only Serenade the girl's heart to win. Dave need to prove what he can do. Friends offer to organize a team and challenge the strong University team...
