For centuries, the myths and legends of the mysterious shroud shroud the picturesque foothills of the Scottish mountains. Skillful Archer Merida has to choose his path in life alone, and one day she refuses to follow the ancient traditions of the Kingdom, challenging powerful Scottish clans and their leaders: clumsy Lord Macguffin, the sullen Lord Macintosh and grumpy Lord Dingwall. Reckless actions of Merida threaten to plunge the Kingdom into chaos, and then she goes for advice to an eccentric recluse, who instead of helping imposes Merida dangerous spell. Young Princess will rely on their own courage to overcome the powerful magic and defeat the most terrible beast from those that live in the mountain valleys.
